Toc Toc Dance AI Video Template: Hop to the Camera, One by One

What is the Toc Toc Dance AI video template?

0 to 1 second: the template opens on an empty dorm hallway; the door at the far end swings open and the first dancer hops out.

1 to 4.5 seconds: you hop down the hallway, knees high, reach the lens at about 3 seconds laughing with your arms open and run past; the second dancer arrives at 3.4 seconds and the third at 4.

4.5 to 11.5 seconds: a dozen more friends keep coming, hands up, spinning and shouting at the camera on every beat.

11.5 to 15 seconds: the first three lead a second wave with their hands in the air, reaching the lens again at about 12.4, 12.9 and 13.5 seconds.

Where the Toc Toc Dance trend comes from

Toc toc is a 2015 party song by the French entertainer Patrick Sébastien. In autumn 2026 it went worldwide on TikTok, where its refrain earned it the nickname Kicékéla. The dance, the danse toc toc in French, is simple: put a phone on the floor at the end of a hallway, then everyone hops up to it one after another, knees high and arms out, pulls a face at the lens and runs past. A college group's dorm hallway version passed 44 million views in October, and soon soldiers, office teams, families and costumed friends joined in, while CapCut turned it into an AI trend. The Toc Toc Dance template keeps that order and timing and puts you and up to two friends at the front of the line, with an original party track, not the song.

Why the Toc Toc Dance trend works

The trend is a crowd joke that gives everyone a moment. Each dancer gets a second alone in front of the lens, so the faces get sillier as the line goes on,, and the floor-level phone makes every hop look huge.

Best photos for the Toc Toc Dance AI video template

The Toc Toc Dance template asks for 3 photos: first dancer (first to reach the camera) and second dancer (right behind the first) and third dancer (third in line).

• Use photos of yourself or of adults who agreed to be in the video, one person per photo.
• Photo 1 is the first to reach the camera and gets the biggest close-up, so use a sharp, front-facing photo.
• Add a second and a third photo for the next two in line, or leave them empty and the AI plays them.
• Full-body or waist-up photos work best: everyone hops the whole length of the hallway.
• Everyone keeps the outfit from their own photo; logos and team names are left off.
